Here we are enjoying the island life. Today is Easter Monday and the locals are flying kites and listening to great music.
Geckoloco is docked getting a refill of water and electrical recharge. And the fridge of course too. We eat a lot on the boat after full days of sun, wind and water.
The captain is napping while we are out playing.
Tonight: Chinese food!!! yes that is a treat when you are sailing!
Next few days we sail back towards the USVI to get some para-sailing and jet skiing in. The request of the guests.

Yes, we had a couple of great days of sailing from Puerto Rico to the Virgin Islands. We are in St. Thomas waiting for Tai’s family to join us tonight on the boat!
Waking up and seeing a turtle swim by is such a wonderful way to be greeted. And the sting rays, did you know they fly! Yes about 4 feet out of the water, the most beautiful thing to see. And of course the 3 foot barracuda that like to hide under the boat, especially while Pierre is snorkeling under the boat to check our new propellers.
There is a bit of a storm coming in so we are anchored in a little bay of mangrove trees that is used as a hurricane anchorage. Floating in about 6 feet of water…
Of course it is warm and the rum tastes especially good down here in a little bit of mangoe juice with a sprinkle of nutmeg.

We arrived tonight in San Juan, Puerto Rico! It is 78F, 26C and we are exhausted but feel great! Tomorrow: one hour taxi ride to Marina Puerto Del Rey to wake Geckoloco up from her long winter sleep. Mosquitoes are happy we are here, we are going to bed in a cute little hotel in San Juan.
