What
to bring?
Nights are typically warm, sometimes breezy, sometimes hot, night rain
showers occur. Travel light, bringing comfortable necessities in one
or 2 small soft bags that can easily be stowed away. We recommend: a
small light towel (dries faster) for after swimming, (one for after
fresh shower provided), a sarong for the beach, flip flop shoes, deck
shoes (docksiders), sneakers to go to town or to go trekking. (We do
not use onshore shoes on the boat). Camera, sunglasses, non oil suntan
lotion, lots of after sun cream, hat. Good books. Small backpack for
dinghy ride to town.
Women:
2 or 3 bathing suits, very light tops, one long-sleeve for sun protection,
shorts, 2 easy to wear respectful outfits to go in town, mosquito-proof,
light outfit for warm evenings.
Men:
2 or 3 swimming suit/ trunks, very light tops, one long-sleeve for sun
protection, one easy to wear respectful pair of shorts to go to town,
mosquito-proof, light outfit for warm evenings.
Do
not bring onboard things that you value that may fly away, or may get
damaged when wet. Swim-proof jewellery only recommended.
