JUST A FEW TIPS TO HELP YOU PLAN YOUR SAILING VACATION HOW TO GET THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE!!

For U.S Citizens and citizens of all other countries, you will need a passport. All visitors to the country of Grenada, the country of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the country of St. Lucia, Martinique and Guadeloupe (part of France) , the country of Trinidad and Tobago, etc. will need a passport. You will need to fill out Immigration Cards. Luggage is subject to inspection upon arrival. Zero tolerance for drugs and contraband. Duty free allowance are liberal.

OPTION: ONE WAY SAILING TRIP
One way cruise may be possible at the time of booking or when sailing safety issues requires a change of plans. Your trip would start from one island and you would disembark on another island.( further south or further north island). If this option can work with our trip plans, you will have to purchase your round trip ticket from the US. to a convenient island and purchase a one way short trip with a local caribbean carrier to get to your return flight back home. ( non-included overnight stay at a hotel may be required. ) Inter-island connections include: Air Caraibe, LIAT Airline, or ferry shuttle.

WHERE IS MY BAG!!
Occasionally, luggage is delayed to these beautiful islands. We suggest you pack a small carry on with overnight essentials and the most important thing...your bathing suit!

REMEMBER TO TRAVEL LIGHT
Soft sided bags work the best, as they can be easily stowed away on our vessel. Deck shoes or barefoot on deck, barefoot below and reef walkers or sandals other times. Sunscreen lotion ( at least 30 SPF to start with) is a must, but please no sun oil as it stains linens, boat cushions and deck, and is damaging the coral reef ecosystem. Afternoon soothers, beach cover up, insect repellent for excursions ashore.

A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY
Sporty shorts and cool tops ( you cannot have enough!) T-shirts and swim suits fit very well around the boat and at the beach. However, please bear in mind that when in island towns and villages, shops and other public places away from the beach, it is frowned upon to wear short shorts, bikini tops, or no tops at all. So please cover up. At most places, evening wear is casual and comfortable ( slacks and casual shirts for the men and casual attire for ladies in a few restaurants, but shorts and T. shirts are fine in most places.

MONEY
US Travelers checks are recommended as most out-island establishments do not take credit cards. US Dollars are welcome in many places. Currency exchange is also available in almost all the islands. A small fee is charged when cashing Travelers checks at the bank. Local Currencies are: Grenada, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Lucia, Dominica, Barbados: E.C. Dollar (East Caribbean Dollars) Trinidad and Tobago: T.T Dollars Martinique and Guadeloupe: Euros
